SPV Special Projects overclad the existing asbestos roof at Fortec's Daventry distribution centre, working through JLL. A new support grid, insulation and profiled steel sheets formed the roof system, with internal purlins strengthened to accommodate the additional load.
Protective netting, perimeter scaffolding and close coordination with the warehouse team supported safe delivery around ongoing operations. Apprentices gained experience throughout the works. The project finished four weeks early and within the agreed budget.
